1. 6/12 - Caffe Vita - Capitol Hill -Seattle, WA
“I can’t hear you very well, the voices in this guy’s head are a little bit loud.”
Olympia was having it’s PRIDE day! Actually, it was kinda scary. Olympia’s LGBT community consists of 90% x-large punk and hippie lesbians. WeHo Pride is much sexier, but that should be obvious. Even though it’s mostly dudes.
These people don’t see the sun very often.
I got into Seattle and of course the first place a hipster goes to is a coffee house in Capitol Hill. So here at Caffe Vita there was a guy wandering around smelling like 10-days of party with no shoes on, mumbling a conversation to himself non-stop for the 4-hours I was camped out in the front window of the cafe.
Seriously where does one get that much energy? No, I’m asking. Do you know his dealer? I’d watch out for whatever he took. Can’t be organic.

  2. 6/12 - This hipstamatic thing has gotten out of hand. I seriously need a real camera to fall out of the sky. Just putting it out into the Universe. This window was a lovely color of turquoise and blood red. A favorite combo.

  4. 6/12 - Washington State Capitol - Olympia, WA
Most of these all look the same; except for Nebraska’s, which looks like a dick.

  6. 6/12 - Olympia, WA - The only car I wanted from ages 6-13 was a ‘57 Chevy Bel-Air.
This one is intestines colored.

  8. Well it’s been real and it’s been fun, LA. We survived The Rapture together and I was pretty sure that no one who lived there for more than a year would be vacuumed up to heaven so we wouldn’t notice anyway but alas I think someone must have prayed hard enough and now we’re safe for another year and a half until the next doomsayer says we doomed. Reason to celebrate indeed. And we did, ouch. I know we’re all kinda bummed it didn’t happen.

Might actually have to respect the world and humanity now, looks like we might be here a while. (But you idiots feel free to keep waiting, eventually you’ll achieve it anyway.)

I’m trying to wrap up some personal affairs here (anyone need a coffee table?) and then I’ll be off to explore the wilds of Northern California! After that I may take a jaunt up the coast to Eugene, Oregon and up to a magical place that I’ve never been to but have visited many times …Astoria.

If you know why I’d like to go there then we can be friends.

After that it seems logical to make my way up to Olympia and Seattle with a possible stop in Aberdeen. I promise not to be all touristy. I’ll just seem like a regular traveler heading through.

And fear not City of Angels, you are an even stronger magnet to escape from than Nebraska. I shall theoretically return to actually be productive soon. I’ve said from the beginning that if I don’t feel that I have a purpose there, then I’m not going to stay.

I feel that LA is the siren of this Odyssey. Time to tie myself to the mast and power on to the next chapter.
